Back from Michigan

We had a nice time in Michigan! Jonah got to meet his Great Grandma, Uncle Jeremy & Aunt Daniela, Cousins Marcus and Aaron and Aunt Mary Lou. Here are a bunch of my favorite pics from our trip. I will spare you ALL the pics since I took over 80 if them!

A Day Out with Thomas the Tank

Today was a special day! Andrew got to RIDE Thomas the Tank! He was so sad to leave at the end of the day. He got to meet Sir Topham Hatt though Andrew knew he was pretend right away. As we were leaving him, Andrew said "He is just a pretend Sir Topham Hatt, he could barely walk". We found out the poor man inside was packed in ice and had a fan in his hat - it was 85degrees out! He played with some trains and luckily did not beg for anything in the toy store. The ride was the best part. Thomas "drives" the train though it is really being pushed from behind. We had a very nice conductor on our train and Andrew told him he wanted to be just like him. Here are a bunch of pics from our time there -

I got a used Bumbo this weekend for Jonah. He is so cute sitting upright all by himself. Here is a picture.

Calling All Cubbie Fans!

Nate went to a Cubs (vs Mets) game on Thursday. We took some pics before he left of him and Andrew in their Cubbie gear. Oh and we had to take one with Cubbie the fish in the picture too! Nate was quite disappointed they lost but I think he still had a good time.

Albany Tulip Festival

We went to the Tulip Festival today. Though it will never compare with Holland's, we did enjoy ourselves. We met my friend Jamie and her daughter Emily Grace there and the kids had a blast together. Here are some pics of our day.

8 weeks

Jonah is now 8 weeks old and growing like a weed. We don't have a his 2mo appt until May 18th. I can't wait to see how much he weighs now. On our scale he is around 11lbs already!

SMILES!

We have been waiting for those first newborn smiles. I refuse to count anything that might be a gas smile but today I got some real smiles. Granted they were at the ceiling but I will take what I can get.
